This is perhaps the most exciting announcement that we have ever, ever, ever made and we feel so privileged to be able to do so. I’m getting all verklempt just thinking about it! Last week, our super homie, chef buddy Joshua Galliano at The Libertine restaurant in St. Louis (who is the mother fuckin’ man!) gave us a call to see if we’d like to pair up for a collaborative dinner. But not just any dinner, my friends! We’re proud to announce that we have been selected to host an Outstanding in the Field farm dinner on Sunday, October 5th as part of their 2014 tour.
A little more about Outstanding in the Field:
“Outstanding in the Field is a roving culinary adventure – literally a restaurant without walls. Since 1999 we have set the long table at farms or gardens, on mountain tops or in sea caves, on islands or at ranches. Occasionally the table is set indoors: a beautiful refurbished barn, a cool greenhouse or a stately museum. Wherever the location, the consistent theme of each dinner is to honor the people whose good work brings nourishment to the table.
Ingredients for the meal are almost all local (sometimes sourced within inches of your seat at the table!) and generally prepared by a celebrated chef of the region. After a tour of the site, we all settle in: farmers, producers, culinary artisans, and diners sharing the long table.”

Basically, James Beard Award nominated chef Josh Galliano and the amazing team at The Libertine will collaborate with us to create a super seasonal four course menu (with wine!) right here at our farm. After a tour of the farm, guests will be seated at a long table for a wonderful evening of food, wine, fellowship and conversation.
Again, we couldn’t be more excited and honored to be a part of this amazing event. We’re so grateful that Josh chose us to partner with. This will no doubt be a very special and memorable event! Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 5th. Tickets go on sale March 20th (the first day of Spring!) so if you’re interested, please sign up! Keep checking back as we get more updates and developments! In the meantime, for more information, check out the links below:

Thanks Erin! I don’t know how magical our farm will be compared to the beaches of Maui, a rooftop overlooking the NYC skyline or a baby buffalo at foot of the table, but we will do our best to make it so!
